Complete furnishing in Sottomarina

Kitchen and Living

For this new complete furnishing project in Sottomarina, we designed a kitchen with a strong, symmetrical, and deeply modern character, where the intensity of dark tones meets the warm materiality of wood.

The kitchen, designed by Doimo Cucine, is a celebration of minimalist design and geometric purity:

  • The XMatt Anthracite base units and columns: a super matte, anti-fingerprint, and velvet-touch finish that lends rigorous and ultra-contemporary elegance to the entire wall composition and the central island.
  • The island with black quartz countertop and retractable tower: the operational heart of the room houses the cooktop and is enhanced by a black quartz top that provides visual depth, integrating smart technological solutions such as the flush-mount retractable power tower (pop-up).
  • The snack countertop in Pepper Dogato Oak: contrasting with the stone and anthracite is the thickness of the melamine-effect wood snack counter. With its warm, natural veins, it is integrated into the island, offering a perfect surface for breakfast or quick meals, framed by three minimalist white stools.

The wall unit in the background is designed with impeccable symmetry, alternating columns for built-in appliances with a spectacular backlit glass-door wall cabinet line, which breaks up the solidity of the dark volumes while elegantly revealing the interior with discrete sophistication. A majestic total black design range hood and an under-cabinet LED bar complete an environment designed for those who love to live the kitchen with style and functionality.

Bath

Bathroom design transforms the service area into a true wellness-inspired bathroom, where the minimalism of the furnishings blends with a masterful study of ambient lighting.

The space is characterized by strong geometric rigor and elements with a major scenographic impact:

  • The double vanity area: ideal for optimizing the couple's routine without sacrificing space, features two white vessel sinks resting on a spacious floating console with integrated drawers. A light and elegant solution that enhances the perception of space on the dark flooring.
  • Backlit LED round mirrors: the true protagonists of the wall, the two circular mirrors create a suggestive luminous halo that reflects on the dark ceramic tiles, adding depth to the room and providing perfect, diffused, shadow-free light.
  • The monumental walk-in shower: delimited by a large full-height transparent glass wall that preserves the room's brightness, the shower area features a ceiling-mounted rain showerhead for maximum relaxation. The integrated storage niche within the cladding and the flush-to-floor shower tray complete a clean, safe design free of visual barriers.

A refined bathroom where the chromatic contrasts between the pure white of the ceramic elements and the intense tones of the walls create an intimate sanctuary dedicated to daily well-being.

Living

The focal point of the relaxation area relies on an enveloping chromatic continuity:

  • The sofa with sliding backrests: upholstered in a vibrant teal fabric, this padded piece combines a highly trendy aesthetic with extraordinary modularity. The sliding mechanisms allow you to adjust the depth of the seats and the position of the cushions at will, transforming the sofa into a true "daybed" completed by the large coordinating pouf.
  • The teal accent wall: the background backdrop faithfully echoes the nuance of the sofa, creating an elegant box effect interrupted by the strong pop contrast of the triptych of pink paintings with the text "Flawless".

Providing the perfect visual counterweight is the media area, defined by rigorous geometries and refined textures:

  • The Orme TV unit: a suspended composition with a sculptural soul, crafted in textured anthracite. The dark elegance of the storage modules is embellished and broken up by refined Marquinia marble-effect inserts, whose light veins add movement and a touch of discreet luxury to the wall.

The perfect balance between the intensity of teal, the rigor of anthracite, and glossy design touches – such as the chrome-plated arc lamp – defines a living area with a bespoke design, crafted to stand out.

Bedroom

The main night area has been designed as a true hotel suite, where the bedroom intimately connects with the private bathroom through a bold and sunny thematic thread: the color yellow.

The bedroom is a concentration of dynamism and visual freshness:

  • The Brilliant bed by Samoa: the true focal point of the room, it stands out for its upholstered textile structure and soft headboard with clean lines, chosen in an energetic yellow fabric to give a unique and sunny character to the environment.
  • The People nightstands by Pianca: positioned cantilevered on the wall, these suspended elements minimize visual bulk. Chosen in the glossy lacquered finish in palette, they echo the liveliness of the room and are enhanced by two warm spherical pendant lamps hanging from the ceiling.

The chromatic dialogue continues fluidly within the en suite bathroom:

  • The coordinated washbasin console: crossing the threshold of the wellness area, the eye is caught by the suspended top of the washbasin, made in the same vibrant yellow glossy lacquered finish as the bedroom.
  • The countertop washbasin: a spacious square white ceramic basin sits on the colored surface, accompanied by minimal chrome faucets and palette accessories.

Wardrobe room

To complete this furnishing project at Sottomarina, we dedicated an exclusive space to the wardrobe, designing a high-capacity walk-in closet that makes minimalism and visual order its strong points.

The space is defined by absolute geometric cleanliness:

  • The large total white wardrobes: the space accommodates two wide hinged-door wardrobes, each with 8 doors. The choice of full-height matte white finish allows the structures to blend in with the walls, amplifying the room's brightness and keeping the environment visually light and airy.
  • The detail of the darkened handles: to break the purity of white, the graphic and rigorous sign of the recessed handles in darkened finish intervenes. A dark and geometric detail that rhythms the fronts and discreetly recalls the other metallic accents of the house.

The atmosphere is made welcoming and relaxing by the contrast with the dark porcelain stoneware flooring, softened by a soft light circular rug on which rests a design armchair in rope. A true private walk-in closet, designed for perfect and timeless organization.
